Privacy policy
Last updated October 6, 2026
This policy explains what information Launchifier (“we”, “us”) collects when you use launchifier.com, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: hello@launchifier.com.
The short version
- We only ask for your email when you join the waitlist or ask us to email you tool results.
- Tool answers are stored without your name, email or IP address.
- We don’t use cookies, ads or analytics trackers, and we don’t sell or share your information for advertising.
What we collect and why
Waitlist sign-ups. Your email address, your first name if you give it, whether you’re open to an interview, where you came from (the page that referred you and any campaign tags in the link), and the date you signed up and confirmed. We use this to confirm your email, send you Launchifier updates and beta invitations, and, if you opted in, to contact you about a short interview. Our basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Founder tools. When you complete a tool (the Idea Readiness Scorecard, Launch-Safety Checklist or Customer Interview Script Generator), we store your answers, or the text you entered, and the result, together with the referring page and campaign tags. This record is not linked to your email or IP address. We use it to run the tools and to understand how they’re used so we can improve them. Please don’t enter personal information about yourself or anyone else into the tools.
Emailed results. If you ask us to email your results, we use your email address to send them. The same email includes a link to join the waitlist. We keep your address as an unconfirmed sign-up, and you only join the waitlist if you click that link.
Abuse prevention. To limit how often forms and tools can be used from one network, we store a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) for up to 24 hours.
Emails you send us. If you email us, we keep the conversation to reply and follow up.
AI processing
The Customer Interview Script Generator sends the text you enter to Anthropic’s Claude model, which we run through Amazon Bedrock, a service of Amazon Web Services. According to AWS, Bedrock doesn’t use your inputs or the model’s outputs to train models. We don’t send your email address or any other details about you with that text.
Services we use
These providers process information on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:
- Amazon Web Services (United States): hosting, database, sending email (Amazon SES), and AI (Amazon Bedrock).
- Cloudflare: the Turnstile check on the Interview Script Generator, which looks at technical signals from your browser to tell people from bots.
- Email forwarding and inbox providers: emails you send to hello@launchifier.com are forwarded to our inbox.
Your information is stored and processed in the United States. If you’re outside the US, it is transferred there.
How long we keep it
- Confirmed waitlist sign-ups: until you ask us to remove you, or until the waitlist is no longer needed.
- Unconfirmed sign-ups: deactivated 30 days after the last confirmation email, and no longer used. Ask us and we’ll erase them completely.
- Hashed IP addresses for abuse prevention: up to 24 hours.
- Tool records: kept to improve the tools; they don’t identify you.
- Server logs: up to 30 days. They don’t contain your IP address or what you entered into the tools.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you, by writing to hello@launchifier.com. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have further rights, including to object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
Launchifier doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use analytics or advertising trackers. The Cloudflare Turnstile check may use technical data from your browser to work, as described in Cloudflare’s own privacy policy.
Children
Launchifier is for founders and isn’t meant for anyone under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their information.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to what’s needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll also tell people on the waitlist by email.
